I started fishing with my grandfather when I was a young child. My grandfather instilled in me the love of the outdoors which I have carried throughout my life.

I began kayak fishing five years ago, and currently enjoy fishing the beautiful rural waters of Tennessee for a variety of species such as Muskellunge, Largemouth Bass, Trout, and even Bluegill.

My husband and I are proud sponsors of a local organization in our community that focuses on getting youth involved and interested in the sport of kayak fishing while keeping a focus on conservation. We also enjoy traveling and fishing the coastal waters of Georgia and the Gulf of Mexico.

I hold a Doctorate in Educational Administration from Carson Newman University in Jefferson City, TN. I have spent the last 21 years in education and currently serve as Director of Adult Education for the school system in which I have worked for the last 17 years.
