Paddling as an Art Form

Paddling as an Art Form

It takes a lot of practice to master a stroke, it's esthetically pleasing as the water rolls off the blade and waves gently ripple through the water.

Stephen Orlando, an amateur photographer, has captured some cool images of paddling using colored LED lights to track the paddle stroke in a unique and beautiful way.
During his days, Orlando is an engineer analyzing fluid dynamics and states,“Visually, there are a lot of similarities between these images and the work I do. These images look exactly like streamlines.”

I don't know much about fluid dynamics engineering, but I do know that what he's come up with is pretty cool.
