Your Best Choice for a Kayak Fishing Paddle [Video]
Here at Bending Branches we’re dedicated to making the best kayak fishing paddles in the industry.
Our entire staff is made up largely of paddlers. And we’ve talked to as many kayak anglers as we know, asking them what they want in a kayak paddle.
The result? Our Kayak Angler Series. No matter what your experience or budget is, we have a kayak fishing paddle that’s perfect for you.
One thing to know: as you come up in price point, you’re going down in weight. But no matter which paddle you choose you’re getting a lot of features.
The bottom line? You’re out there to catch fish! Having the right paddle gets you to those great fishing spots easier, quicker and with less strain on your body.
And with the extra features our paddles have, it’ll be one of your most usable tools for more than just paddling.
Let’s take a closer look…
Angler Rise—Our most affordable kayak fishing paddle. The Angler Rise is perfect for those just “getting your toe in” kayak fishing, or for the occasional angler. At only $74.95 the Rise features an aluminum shaft and polypropylene blades. Even at this crazy-low price, you get the hook retrieval system.
Angler Scout—The next step up, priced at only $99.95, the Scout has a built-in tape measure and hook retrieval system just like our pricier paddles. The shaft is ovalized aluminum with a snap-button ferrule. The blades are sturdy epX Engineered Polymer.
Angler Classic—Our best selling kayak fishing paddle, and for good reason. It gives you all the bells and whistles our high-end fishing paddles do, at a price any kayak fisherman can afford. The snap-button ferrule model is priced at $149.95, and the Plus Ferrule model is $174.95. The shaft is ovalized fiberglass—a little lighter, and warmer on your hands. The blades are epX Engineered Polymer.
Angler Ace—A big step up is the Ace, a truly phenomenal fishing paddle. It features a dual tape measure—both inches and centimeters. The all-carbon shaft is both super durable and light, and is available with both a snap-button ferrule ($214.95) and Plus Ferrule ($239.95) for infinite feathering angles. The blades are carbon-reinforced nylon for extra toughness and effortless pull through the water.
Angler Pro—Our highest quality, lightest, best-looking kayak fishing paddle. In fact, it won Kayak Fishing Paddle-of-the-Year every year from 2013-2016. It’s a world-class paddle for the serious angler who demands the best.
The Pro’s T-700 carbon shaft features a dual tape measure and is available in both snap-button ferrule ($329.95) and a telescoping Plus Ferrule ($354.95). The blades are multi-laminate fiberglass and come in three eye-catching colors: camo, sea green and RealTree® Max5.
Each of the Angler series paddles is available in 5 different lengths. For help choosing the right size, refer to our Kayak Paddle Sizing Guide.
