Hello Bending Branches

Let me introduce myself. I'm Joey Monteleone. After 30 seasons in Missouri I relocated to Tennessee. Over 35 years ago I started a "part time" career as an outdoor communicator. On that journey I was fortunate enough to appear on the pages of several periodicals including BASSMASTER, IN-FISHERMAN, BASSIN' and many  more. With a focus on bass, my favorite fish is the one that is on the end of my line. After fifty years of on the water adventures and a quarter century guiding while casting / catching out of every possible water craft has brought me to kayaking full time five years ago. With varied interests my main goal is to introduce others to the outdoors, protect the resource, communicate safety and instruct others using the experiences I have had to reduce their learning curve and increase their outdoor on the water success. Along with the outdoor writing which continues, I'm a karate instructor, do a daily radio spot on 650 WSM AM (Wild Side Radio), the legendary Grand Ole Opry station, in addition to this I have been doing personal appearances along with angling instructional seminars for over three decades. My inclusion on the Bending Branches team, for me, breathes new life into kayaking, paddling and fishing. "There's magic in moving water", but I'll paddle and pitch anywhere. I proud to be part of the team and hope to meet many of you either on or off the water. I'll Be Tennessean Ya'
